Recommendations for a 2"/4" drop
I already have 2" lowering shackels in the rear, but would like to drop the truck another 2" all the way around. What is the best way? Can I just add the hangers in the rear to get the additional 2"? Will I need a pinion shim since I have the extended cab? Also, what will the ride quality be like compared to now? Thanks.

Front:
DJM: 2" Drop Arms (easy install, possible bump steer)
McGaughys': 2" Drop spindles (Only run the Tahoe ones if you have 17" wheels or larger, they make one for 16" rims, but they require relocation of the ball joints. I have these(tahoe ones), ride is just like stock, they are pricey though($300)
Both the arms and spindles will ride like stock, id say get the spindles, im bias though.
Rear:
Just do hangers. You shouldnt need pinion shims, you may however need a carrier bearing bracket casue you have a 2 piece drive shaft(this elleminates vibrations)
Shocks:
Go with Edelbrocks, QA-1's, or something quality like that, stay away from: toxic, belltech.

I got a belltech 2/4 kit, it was spindles and then hangers and shackles in the rear. I did have to do a carrier bearing bracket. Also i did have axle shims. I got the whole kit from a sponser on the site. I got the spindles that need 17" or larger wheels, the whole install was pretty straight forward, but i have dropped trucks before. I am very happy with the ride, pretty much like stock, just a little tightger.
