I was wondering If anybody had put these on their trucks.... if so how much was the job.....

 

You talking about racing stripes? Not busting your hump on spelling just curious because I always thought racing stripes look badass on cars and haven't seen them on any Chevy's just the Dodge Ram R/T. I think black with white racing stripes would look badass.

 

I don't know if it's just me but the feeling I get from others is that they either like the stripes or not at all. I've thought about maybe doing some silver racing stripes on mine but I don't have the power to back them up.

 

Do you want to put stripes over te whole truck from the hood to the tailgate or just on the hood?? I have them just on my hood and they look good, I think there was a pic on here of a red chevy w/ a cowl hood painted like that. Do a search on hoods and see if you can find it.

Yeah I was on my way out the door to class when the racing STRIPE thought hit me..... I was typing fast..... Im in college I know how to spell Racing Stripes

I have an 01 Seirra and I bought the Reflexxion steel cowl hood, I paid $410 for the hood, I had the whole truck painted so I couldnt tell you how much it cost just for the hood to be painted, a good body shop could probably paint on just the stripes for $150- $250 if you bring them just the hood.
