quick question

what up folks.
i saw a cool looking truck earlier on this site...i think it was an lq9 motor in it, not sure about the heads... but he had corvette fuel rail/engine covers on in painted to match his truck.
i thought it was great looking, i was just wondering if they would fit my truck engine?
i would like to copycat that dude. any help is appreciated.

if you have a pic for an example would be great to know exactly what you saw.
if i am right, you saw a truck with a car style intake and vette fuel rail covers. the car style intake isnt easy but yes you can swap over to that, but it ends up being a bit expensive.
search for the ls6 intake swap, there are a few threads on here that explain in detail what has to be swapped over.
to get the look you are wanting you have to swap intake manifolds and add the fuel rail covers that go with it.
if anybody here knows if this is possible on a 07 NNBS, please comment

i just looked on ebay... they are going for about 85 bucks or so....
he probably did have an ls2 intake...... i just loved the way it looked!!
he had a turbo, with blue rail covers on the motor like a vette...but he had silverado stickers on it.
i sure wish i could make them fit.

are you talking about the truck posted by beastmode, if so that is quik's truck. he got banned but he is building up a rcsb silverado with a 408 , 88mm turbo, ls2 intake, etc....
yes that was a ls2 intake with custom painted fuel rail covers with the decals on there.
the easiest thing for you to do to get that look is a ls1/ls6 intake swap and some fuel rail covers. if i remember correctly the conversion runs up about $600 or so, but not sure.
the corvette covers will not fit a stock truck intake manifold
