Man, I remember reading about that mod. It's the 99-02 chevy HD hood just modified to fit the GMC's. Like Scream mentioned I do remember reading they had to cut it shorter to fit over the GMC headlights. None the less.......really nice mod to do!!

I would think where you cut it would have to be welded and grinded to make it seamless.

Its only a lttle cutting, wleding and grinding. Not hard at all. Anyone with a little time, and welding experience can do it. Just remember measure TWICE and cut ONCE.
