I think every 99-02 1500 should be converted to HD, at least use an HD hood. I was a huge fan of the 95-98 GMC front ends, but once I got my HD, I quickly realized how much more badass this front end is.

Definitely agree with it being the best front end of any GM truck. That or the quad headlight GMC's from 69-72 (only a few years in that time frame IIRC)

It must be an older pic or he managed to find one, because I haven't been able to find an 01-02 HD specific SS bumper cover. The closest is the 99-02 1500 version or the 03+ HD version.

Both seem like they would need quite a few modifications to fit though. I was looking for one recently and was saddened that they aren't selling them anymore....but maybe they don't advertise them, Maybe I will have to give Street Scene an email or call and find out if they are discontinued or not.
