finally convinced my buddy into lowering his 2000 ext. cab. hes a "country" guy, into lifted, mud tire kinda crap. after sending him pic after pic of lowered chevys, hes hooked. lol. he just got his truck repainted, now looking for wheels and lowering it 2/4..long story short, i mentioned the 2500HD conversion, and he doesnt think itll look good lowered with a HD frontend..and problem is, i cant find pics..so post em up!!

This truck is sickkkk. I love it. 01-02 is my favorite front end, with the full colormatch 11-12 HD front end a close second.

 

01-02 for sure. Hard as nails.

 

i gotta say, im not tooo fond of the 99-02 1500 style, but with the HD front end or even just the hood, turns in into a hole different animal..i should of got a 99-02 and did a HD front conversion.

 

the HD bumper different then the 1500?? to use a HD grille, youd need a HD front bumper, correct?

 

You might be able to trade someone your 03-05 front clip for a 99-02 and do the conversion. My truck is a 2000 but has the 03-05 front clip and wish I had the 99-02 clip still and do the HD conversion.

 

Just need hd bumper cap to run the grill bumpers are the same

 

I was always into lifted trucks myself. Then I wanted a fast truck so I started looking at the lowered trucks. Finally ended up buying this and love having the best of both worlds.
