Default polishers??? Flex vs porter cable

I am looking at getting one of these. The flex is more expensive but i have seen more people use the porter cable. Just wondering if any of yall have experience with both?

I use the Porter Cable 7424XP, its a great orbital buffer. Just takes some getting use to.

I have a large orbital buffer, its nice but i too want a compact one.

My good friend got the porter cable with his Adams kit and says it works great.

The flex is the best of both worlds. The pad spins like a porter cable but moves in an orbital pattern too for the quickest shine. This is just what I've read of course but was enough to convince me to spend the extra dough on it.

I opt to just use my variable speed dewalt, with a foam hook pad.. Doesn't get better then that imo.. But I do have a small porter for the bikes..

AFter some reading i am gonna get the Porter Cable. The Flex seems more for damaged paint, both of the cars i will be using it for are in decent shape.

Good call and if you do decide later on to upgrade to the flex, all of your polishes will work with the flex. New pads will be needed but the polishes are all the same. You will enjoy the PC, no doubt.
