I need new tires for my 2000 3/4ton Silverado so I decided to check out local craigslist ads to see if I can pick up a rim/tire combo instead. I have what I think are steel with a chrome cover thingy, 8lug, 5 spoke rims with 245/70/16 tires. Good deal/bad deal? Also how wide of a tire can I put on my current rims if I decide to keep them and just get tires? They are 245/70/16's I believe

 

Mine has them, for a stock wheel I think they look pretty sweet, but it sucks that 75% of the trucks around me have them...so they are very ordinary. Ive seen a few OBS HD's with them and they look pretty sweet with them I have to say. Its something different
