Default Picked up a 2007 classic silverado

Hey guys,

Just joined on here a while ago when I was searching for a new truck. Found lots of great information and inspiration build threads on here. I'm coming from the Jeep world so I still wanted 4x4 and to be able to fit some decent sized tires under the truck, but am also intrigued by the go-fast bug and feel like I have a better chance with a 5.3L rather than the 4.0L I6.

Here's the new ride. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado classic, z71, 106k miles, blue granite metallic. She's got a line-x bed liner and appears pretty bone stock. I'd like to do some color matching in the future along with some larger tires, etc.

Found these on craigslist about a month ago and couldn't pass on the deal in case i did wind up with a 6 lug silverado/sierra. They are on some bald tires, and I would like to toss a larger set on them than whats currently on the truck, but since the current set is new, these may be sitting for a while. They are Nissan armada/titan wheels, should look pretty decent with this color of truck, may get them powder coated black.

Great start! I've always been a fan of that color (had a 11' crew cab in it). Those charcoal titans would look pretty good against that color with a leveling kit and some 33s

Leveling kit and 33s sounds about perfect. I'm new to the independent front suspension set ups. Is there a right way and a wrong way to level these? I know with Jeeps, it was much better to get larger coil/leaf springs than lift blocks or coil spacers.

Seeing as you have the torsion bar front end, I would just add like a set of Rough Country keys and some nice Bilstein shocks and call it a day.
