Default Painting over powder coated pieces.

I have some valve covers that are powder coated flat black. I really want a semi-gloss finish to match other pieces i have painted. I am too cheap to get them striped and recoated. So if i scuff them up a little and throw some paint on it will it stick? Sorry i have done alot of painting before just not over powder coat.

We do it all the time. Powder actually acts as a really good primer, just make sure to scuff it really good and don't miss any corners etc.
