bulldog is an adhesion promoter..... its a good product. used when painting plastics or other surfaces where paint is prone to flake off..... use bulldog on bare surface (after scuffin) and then spray the primer, u can do it 2 times if u need to...... bulldog, primer, sand, bulldog, primer, sand, paint

i believe they have it at local stores..... i bought mine from a ppg authorized dealer paint store. if there is a place where u can buy paint, they will probably have it there.

i think the best thing to do would be to have the chrome sand blasted off.. then u can paint or powder coat as u please... will be so much easier to paint bare metal than worrying about painting chrome.

i went with powder...bumpers, antenna, billet door handles...etc. been on for 4 years with no issues.

you could powder the bumper and then prime and paint over the powder.

Work truck bumper for the win. I have painted chrome bumpers many times over the past 8-10 years using bulldog adhesion promoter and they hold up OK but nothing like buying a cheap work truck bumper. Most times you can trade a clean chrome bumper straight up for one. Old men love chrome, that's how I got mine. Note rear bumper below I shot on my truck in base/clear

This picture shows the chrome shining through the side mirrors when I first bought the truck back
