Is it easier to paint them or to get new ones already painted(white) for a 2003 Sierra.
I already looked up getting prices for the paint but does anybody know what it would cost to buy new already painted white.
Has anybody painted them before and how long did it take you and do u have any tips on what to look for.
thanks

I don't think you can actually get a full white mirror for your truck, I think you have to have it painted. I know they have the white mirror caps though as an aftermarket accessory. I say if your going to do it... pull your mirrors completely apart and have them smoothed and painted, there was a guy on LS1truck who was going to do mine after I had taken them all apart, he did 1slow01Z71 mirrors I believe.

I believe your paint code is 50U but check in your glove box and make sure. Here are a few P/Ns that might get your started
Olympic White 50U
17800850 - white painted '06-'07 grille with chrome mesh
17800657 - white painted mirror caps
IMO this kit would look sick on your truck and it only like $120
17801132 - kit, 2 door esky handles, drivers keyhole, painted tailgate handle and bucket

Depends on the cap. If it has screws, obviously those have to come out, and then its just double side tape. If no screws, its just double sided tape. Even if you have the smooth cap without screws, there will be holes under the cap.
There use to be handles (door and tailgate) on ebay all the time. I know my door handles were inexpensive, factory tahoe handles. As for the tailgate handle, I sanded mine down and had it painted when everything else was painted.

Unless you go and order from door handles from a Tahoe or something that came factory as white and painted. Only problem with that is you can't buy the white tailgate handle and bezel without it being in that kit. On both my red and black truck I got Tahoe handles, and Silverado SS tailgate handle/bezel. On my white truck I had to order the kit from GM Parts *** I think. It pissed me off because I wanted all white but it isn't so bad
