Alright, I am finally looking to colormatch and am trying to collect all the parts I need. I need to get the tahoe door handles, c3 tailgate handle and bezel, and the tahoe bumper cap. I have these part numbers...

Tahoe Handles 15029901 and 15029902
Tailgate Handle/Bezel 15755401 and 15752896
Tahoe Bumper Cap 88937339

Are they correct? The C3 tailgate handle and bezel are smooth right? And now on for part two. Can anyone get me a deal on these or is there anywhere I can get them for less than the dealer wants? Thanks

 

Is the bumper cap off of a Suburban the same? If so I have one I can sell you. It has the holes for fog lights. I can also paint it if you're interested.

The bumper cap is on top of the chrome bumper and is painted to match the vehicle on most Tahoes and Suburbans, or ordered paint to match. Thanks anyways though.

I went the gmpartsdirect.com and put everything in and went to checkout, one of the handles disappeared from my cart. I emailed them and they said it was a generic number or something, not a specific color. I told them it wasn't painted, but just a smooth handle ready to be painted. Thinking maybe I will have to order all but the handle and then go to the dealer, unless someone has another option.

I don't think so. In my search I never found one that was smooth that GM produces. The Denalis and C3 have ones that are painted and give the appearance of smooth, but they are not.

Save yourself the money here and just pay (or do it yourself) to have them sanded smooth.

 

The C3 handles are still textured somewhat but they feel smooth due to the paint and clear coat. You can see the texture. I lightly sanded mine for new paint and once painted it was totally smooth.

If you want smooth right out of the box you can pick up some Tahoe door handles but you will need to have them painted.

 

I would check the shipping charges for gmpartsdirect before you decide to order. They KILL you on shipping.

SDPC will be able to get all of the pieces that you need.

 

After shipping from gmpartsdirect it was still less than the dealer. I will check out SDPC though.

I guess I will just sand the tailgate handle and bezel then seeing as they shouldn't be as difficult as the door handles anyways.

One question though. Which set of part numbers is the smooth paintable tahoe handles? I got this set from the dealer, 15150735 and 15150736, and I have seen this set on here, 15029901 and 15029902.

 

When I got mine they were 15745148 and 15745149
