Ok so heres under my hood currently...pretty effin blah...


Well...i got the VTech smooth covers from Stylin...

Im about to take them to my painter...my idea is to have the main cover match my blue...and the others silver like the wheels and ducts...maybe a lil more flake tho....and also my K&N tube smoothed and painted along w/ the shroud cover smoothed and painted...............any ideas or other paint schemes i should consider?.....what about the tube and shroud?...what colors?...i dont want to much of 1 color...but i wanna coordinate as well....jus like to have some other points of view..thanks

 

I think it would be too much silver.

 

I like the idea of paint matching the body color...but I gotta tell ya, you may think it's "blah" under your hood, but it sure is clean!

 

go body color!! and lose the ribbed wiper cowl!

 

i agree with everybody to just paint it the same color as the body

 

lol **** i could give a flying **** what under my hood looked like..... i haven't even had an engine cover on since i started modding it.... just two more bolts to take off.. and lose... ... but if i wanted to paint that i would go a blue base color then some kinda light grey / silver design of some sort

 

I think just the blue would look good. You could also paint the fender braces and maybe the electrical lid and box.

 

paint it all blue including the airraid tube, but paint the center cover blue with silver flames

 

Iv sanded down the tube..about to sand down the shroud cover and electrical box....and iv already got an airbrush idea ready for the center cover...heh....its gonna be all blue....except the center
