i got started on'em tonight...i got 2 done cuz i was trying to be careful and make it look half ***. anyways...here's a pic of the front with the stock wheel on cuz my thrusters are being polished.

look pretty good. Where did you get the caliper paint, and how much was it. Do you just paint it on a wait for it to dry? I may want to do that.

 

how did you clean or prepare the caliper before you painted it?

mine have alot of crap on them

 

i bought it at pepboys, don't remember how much it was....i pulled'em off and sat'em on the cardboard and painted them. it was a pretty easy process really, hit me up on AIM if you want to talk about it.

 

i used like a 220 grit sand paper where i could to just get the crap off of them and get the layer of GOOO off there. then cleaned them with acitone and then painted.

 

Looks pretty cool Matt. I'm having my calipers powder coated soon.

 

i wish i had went ahead and had mine p coated.....it's so much easier to maintain and looks better really in my opinion.

 

Looks good!! You can see them through the stock wheel pretty well. Not that it matters.

I got mine off the web for about $34.00. The kit came with paint, brake cleaner, instructions, and brushes. I bought brake cleaner earlier thinking the kit was just the paint. Just recently, I saw another kit that included a rust remover/inhibitor included along with everytihng else.
