Default Nothing to show and definitely doesn't shine 84 cutlass

As requested I am posting up a few pics of my budget car an 84 cutlass 2door. It is getting a carbed junkyard 4.8 th350, 3600 converter, and 3.73s with a lot of weight reduction. Picked it up off an old lady original owner and it has 76k miles on it with full documentation (owners manual, original window sticker, etc) and was bought here in my hometown. Anyways it will eventually end up with a set of Summit Drag Thrust wheels big n littles with some suspension upgrades and a cowl hood with a new paint job. The old lady definitely dinged it up.

I have a Cutlass being built for me as a Wedding Gift, but it's a '72.

Dude let me know if the weight reduction has anything to do with the pad that is above the glove box. I need one BAD.. Nice lil project, damn these cars with some power love to hang the hoops

Hey, not bad for 200 bucks I like the driver lol. Looking forward to seeing the finished product...those cars look great with cowl hoods too Good luck with it, enjoy!

Oh yea, I'll bet that those seats are comfortable

Was that car originally a V6 or a V8? My buddy used to have a blue 84 with the white vinyl 1/4 roof, it was a beautiful car but had the 6-er in it.

lol my wife was being silly and put our scarecrow in the driver seat. And yes the seats are really comfortable I almost want to keep them but they are very very heavy haven't made up my mind yet. Once you sit in the seats its hard to get out of because they wrap around you and you sink back into the cushion. I kind of want to keep steelies on it and put quiet mufflers on it and a 100 shot and leave the rest how it sits right now for a sleeper look.

hehe Oh yea I plan on keeping the dash original other than some extra guages in the radio slot. I am not going to gut the interior other than some lighter buckets out of maybe a cavalier or something everything else will stay I don't want to ride around in a tin can interior. The weight reduction ocnsists of heat/air, sway bar, inner fenders, jack, etc. Most of the weight has come off the front.

Pretty cool little project. I've always kinda liked that body style. Would be a fun cruiser.
