Truck looks like a fun project, look forward to seeing its progress.
alright...
the detailing does that require me to do it? or take it somewhere? if so i didn't even know people detailed it that good anywhere.....

I'm of the mindset that I never pay for anything I can do myself. A little elbow grease and you can detail it yourself. May take a couple of days but you feel more pride in your truck when you clean it yourself.

Some 17" Impala SS rims with 275/50/17 tires would look great and fill the wheel wells pretty well with that drop. Next buff the paint out, or pay someone to do it if you don't want to. Polish those oxidized lights, ditch the chrome on the fender lips, and get some smaller mirrors and it will look like a different truck.
is this what you were talking about? chrome or not?

Yeah those are the wheels. I prefer the machined finish myself, but that's me. I think Impy wheels look really nice on 88-98 trucks. I also think sport mirrors or OEM '97 mirrors would help clean it up. Check Ebay for prices.
