Default Newer Truck

Hello all...been a while since I've been on, but as with every new truck I get - I look here for mods to do. I traded my 07 vortec max ECSB for a 2011 LTZ Crew Cab 4WD...this is the first 4WD I've owned and I am going for a little more of that look this time I guess. The thing is...I don't want to raise the truck. I actually want to lower the back about 2-1/2" to level it out, but I do want more of an off road looking tire. I really like the looks of Terra Grapplers as I like the short sidewall. Gives off road look, but still looks like a performance truck to me. The question is, I am thinking just the stock size in a 275/55/20 Grappler and lowered in the back. Anyone running a setup like this? I did a lot of searching and I can only find fords with this tire size. Or should I just step up to a 285/50/20. Thanks everyone...oh and I have the LTZ flat 5 spokes. Color is white diamond. Thanks for the help!

Leveling as in only dropping the back right?

I lowered the rear of mine with shackles to level it out and think it looks great. Not 20's thought, just some 17" Winter tires in this photo.

That looks great! Did you do hangers or shackles? Shackles I think are much easier. I know they are 17's, but what tire setups are those? I like the looks. I see you are proCharged...I used to have an 04 RCSB with a d1sc...I miss that truck.

Used drop shackles and removed the rear blocks.

Summer setup is Centerlines on Yokohama AVS S/T 275/55/17
These tires are shot now though and they no longer make them so not positive what I will run this summer yet.

Picture showing the rear height and tires setup

Winter setup is some American Racing rims on Hankook iPike studded tires. 265/70/16 I believe
