ya i actually picked it up from i guy i worked with for about 4 yrs, so i know the history of it so thats always a bonus... i mean cleaned up the trucks worth $3500 pretty easily

the wifey is talkin about me makin it a auto so she can have it, im not in the mood for that big of a swap so i think its stayin a manual and she can get something else, she wants a fullsize with a V8 anyways lol

just put the 4.8 in it with a 4l60E behind it...easy enough

good deal you got there! will look good cleaned up and w/out the hood.

see thing is though its already a manual, so it would probably be alot easier to do a T56 imo. i would think an auto would require lots of other parts ex: steering column, gauges, covering the whole for the shifter, etc. well see though, i can probably pick up a 60E for less than a T56 though

side note: the scoops are already off the hood haha, im gonna debadge most of it today and get her washed and cleaned up real good and ill post up some more pics tomorrow

4L60E is way cheaper than T56.

get a floor shifter and cable. and a new brake pedal. you don't really need the gauges and just some sheet metal for the hole.

i've thought this over and priced both and the 4L60E route comes out much cheaper. (mine is a 5-spd now) and then your rear will hold up better also.
