Default New shoes for the DD - (08) Altima

These are AR1 wheels, matte silver with polished chrome lip, and sitting on 245/45-18 rubber. The tires are Fuzion brand. I picked up the set for a steal of a deal too!! I am happy with the ride quality, handling, and aesthetics… especially for the price!! I grabbed these from tire rack, mounted/balanced/chrome locking lugs/hub centric rings for $ 1064. I also picked up that rear spoiler from eBay the other day and mounted it up when I did the wheels.

The car averages 28.4 mpg mixed driving also, so I am happy with the purchase thus far.

Fuzion grip alright but you might want to start tire shopping soon. They won't last very long. 20,000 mi. and they will probably be in need of some attention.

Wheels look alright but they don't really jump out at me. I think they are tuner and I look at the car as a luxury type sedan. Again not bad at all for the price.

Good input. I read many reviews for the Fuzion and didn’t see any negatives on tire life, though I have never had them before. I actually wanted the stock Maxima 19" wheels for it, but spent a month trying to locate a reasonably priced set and could not. I really liked these, and thought they accentuated the factory lines well, so I jumped on them.

I guess to each their own, but I like them. I appreciate the constructive input though, and I will keep that in mind on the tire life certainly.

any recommendations for long living tires?

My buddy had a 2.5 in that body style and color. More leg room than I could use at 6' tall up front. That thing saw some serious abuse. It was a race/rally/dd car

ha! Yeah I am 6'2", 220ish... and the little Saturn SL-2 i been driving to work was a bit small... and i was tired of it. This thing is mega roomy with plenty of space for my 5 year old in the back..

Pro tip, parking brake standing burnouts are impossible. Maybe with some oil on the ground if I was to have a dd car, that would be it. Pretty decent bass out of the standard radio with aux input.

It also depens what model tire you bought. I havn't seen any fuzion do very well on millage. I am a big fan of cooper and if you can get them Mastercraft(there private brand name). They do well on millage and the price is usualy very good.

Like I said the wheels are an upgrade just not my first choice. Finding stock take offs is usualy not a cheap adventure!

We actually have a Cooper dealer here in my town, though i was showing their touring tires close to $200 each. i was impressed (when i just googled them) that they are rated for 60k miles! I couldnt find much on the rating for the Fuzion, but i hope they do more than the 20k you described.
