The brackets are welded to the bumper and the brackets are bolted to the end of the frame. So I would have to cut directly of the bumper the then re weld them on the bumper in a different location.

Dereck, thanks for the reply. Sound like a good chunk of work, and something that will take some planning (with regards to getting my hands on some air tools and a spare car/bike). I live in NY so will put the stockers on in the winter and the 18's on in the summer, that's why I ask about the diff. How much do the spindles tighten up the turning radius? Just curious if it's a noticable loss. You're sitting on the stops now? I'm hoping mine would be less with the less weight towards the back. But you never know.

My turning radius did not change a bit, i have to turn pretty hard to back in to my garage and it's still the same for me. if you run 16's in the summer you will have to go a different route than the spindles i got, you could do a 2" spring, control arms, or a different spindle...there are many routes to go, but it can be done, there are plenty of guys running stock wheels on their dropped trucks. It depends on how much you want to spend, and how u want it to ride etc...
