Did you try STS? If you don't want to mount the winter tires yet, you can borrow my stockers.

That's where I wanted to go first, but they were closed yesterday. The more I think about it, the more I want to do the alignment myself. I've pretty much decided to get my winter shoes done and ready to go, then take it from there. Plus, this way, my 285's will already be dis-mounted and ready for sale. Thanks for the offer to borrow your stockers, if I can't get this worked out smoothly, I'll definitely take you up on the offer

Thats kinda like when my wife ask why my truck sounded like it wanted to die, and I told her thats just how these "economy" cams sound

Looks great Bud. How's the ride with the keys?? I just loosened my bars, and its a little too soft, but I would like to go another inch or two, I was thinking about getting a set of the keys.

Thanks White It's a bit soft in the front, but I also cut my bumpstops too short, and they're not even touching. Hopefully once I get that taken care of, it will stiffen up a bit. Either way you go, with keys or just loosening, it's still gonna soften up a bit, because it's the same effect, only the keys allow you to go a little further. I'm happy with the ride though, even with the alignment being off...I guess the lower center of gravity and wider, more performance oriented tires make a big difference. Not to mention I have a ton of negative camber right now which really helps cornering, but I'm sure can't be all that great for the inner edge of the tire...although the contact patch still looks pretty good. It was fun driving it to work today...kinda wierd looking up at all the SUV's that I used to be eye to eye with

Those are some of the best looking rims out there imo. And they look killer on your truck, but I bet they would look better on mine. Send them to me so We can see..

Awesome look! The plans you have in store are really going to set it off.

Just a little update...I was able to get the truck on the alignment rack today at the Toyota Dealership where my buddy's the foreman. Aside from whacking my head and re-opening the cut that I obtained last week while doing the install , it went pretty smoothly. I was able to just get the alignment where I wanted it, and what a difference in handling it made . Just as I thought, the camber and toe were way out, but the caster was within specs. Camber was at -1.3 on both sides, it was .4" toed out, and caster was an even 5.2 on both sides. After the alignment, I was able to get camber up to -.5 on the left and -.6 on the right, total toe to .05", and caster to 3.9 L and 4.0 R. I would have liked some more caster, but once I got the camber where I wanted it, that's where caster ended up, so I let it fly.

We also mounted my winter meats on my factory wheels...275/70R-16 Toyo Open Country AT's.

Now I'm just waiting for the front bumpstops to arrive and it's a done deal (orderd factory rubber ones that I'm not gonna cut to short this time). Oh yea, and I have to get the speedo recalibrated. I took the wife out for a nice 2 hour ride tonight and it was great. The truck rides smoothly, handles well, and I haven't experienced any vibrations on the highway (I have 4* pinion angle shims on the bench just in case). It was fun as hell to finally really drive it without being worried about burning up the inner edge of the tires Hard bumps and washboard roads are a little harsh, but for the most part it's smooth as butter
