Default BFG KDW Need Info

I am looking to buy a set of these tires. and heard good respones from dry traction and wet traction. But I heard that the tires really do not last at all.

Have any had the same problem with these tires. And if you have any others opinions please voice out.

Thanks
Beto

Thanks Jared do you have any idea about how many miles they lasted. I really want to get these tires... but my buddy at a Discount Tire told me that they put some on an SRT-4 for a girl and she came back 2 months later because all 4 were almost wore out. To be honest the main reason why I want these tires is because I love how BFG does not put that much crap on there tire sidewalls.

don't believe the hype. I'm not saying you'll get 50k out of them, but you can expect at least 20k, Awsome wet traction tire, Awesome tire for the twisties wet or dry, decent tire to launch from a dead stop.

I've got them and love them (305/50/20). Traction is great, look is killer. therre is about 2K miles on my set and they are wearing just fine. They are an expensive tire, but I feel that you do get what you pay for here.

Really good tire for performance. But, you will be replacing them about every 20k for sure.I ran them on my old S-10 before i got rid of the rims on it etc..They did awesome in rain and dry..but like i said 20k and they need replacing.

My vote would go to the nitto 420s. I've had mine on my 22's for like 5k now and they are showing NO wear. Wet and dry traction is very good as well as looking ******* cool. Lastly, depending on size, you can almost buy 2 sets of the nittos for the price of the KDW's. I got mine through discount for $208/tire, KDWs in the same size were $380.

Like any tire, abuse them and they won't last. I've got 23K on my KDW's and they look brand new.

I put a little more than 30,000 on my KDW's (the cool pattern ones) and the only ones that were worn were the rears. I had them on the front and like a dummy I didn't align them so they wore on the inside, rotated them, had the truck aligned and they showed no measurable wear. I drove them hard but didn't abuse the ever living hell out of them... whenever I was on a backroad I was putting them to good use, and the only reason the rears got worn (which were the screwed up ones from the front) is because I was going to replace them anyway so I spun 'em up a couple times.

Hands down awesome tire in the wet and unbelieveable on sunny days... just never, NEVER drive them in the snow. I, like just about everyone here, would consider myself an exceptional driver, at least a couple cuts above the general driving public... well I took my truck out one day in decent snow thinking traction would just be crappy but manageable, not so much. They were downright dangerous and if you ever encounter snow with those tires on, please don't drive it... at least I can say I warned you.

All in all, buy 'em. You shouldn't be sorry.
