Default New Drop

Just finished putting the drop spindles and hangers on my truck last night thanks to Zach and some other buddies. Got it aligned this morning and I really like the way it handles compared to just 2" shackles. I know it's not clean, but when I get home in a little bit I'm going to clean it up good for tonight. Here's the parts I used:

Belltech 2508 2" Drop Spindles - 260 shipped (new)
DJM (I think) 2" Hangers - 50 shipped (used)
Generic 2" Drop Shackles - 40 shipped (new)

I plan to eventually get some wheels/tires but for now I'm going to rock the stockers

Also, the helper bags will be installed tomorrow for the rear. We're using Firestone 2500's with 3/8" ports and independent air lines to help balancing. I tow a good amount and want to keep full towing capacity with the drop. I'll post some pix of the install tomorrow.

That looks good! I like the stockers!
the truck looks real low, i guess is the length.
I would like to see the helper bag install, one of my next mods.

Thanks man, the helper bags look pretty sweet up under the truck when they're done. The truck does look pretty low for a 2/4 because of the stock tire height. My buddy who has a 2/5 custom drop he built himself runs silverado SS wheels on 31.5" tires. The back of my truck is the same height as his since my tires are shorter at 29.5"

Man, it does look low, I like how the stockers tuck in the rear! Any plans for different wheels and tires, or are you gonna keep rockin the stockers?

I'm gonna rock the stockers for a little bit until I figure out what wheels/tires exactly I want to run. I think I'm also going to adjust the shackles in the back to help with hitting frame lol. I don't plan to do a c-notch although my buddy can do it easily. I really like the Stingray III's and you can get them for pretty cheap directly from centerline.
