You make like it better but what factual information is out there that proves it's better?

I am not aware of a "dunn and bradstreet" reporting service for detail products. You are pretty much stuck with the opinions of those that have used the product.

Use what you like to use.

exactly theres no really way to tell, it all depends on a your personal preference. if your a zaino man, try adams and if you dont think its as good he'll gladly refund you 110% back.

When properly prepped, wax doesn't make a huge difference.

Yes some are better than others, but the prep work is whats really important.
