I have a black truck and i am very picky with how it looks i dust it off every day wash it once a week, there was always light swirls and scratches that would always go away after i would use ,meguirs, and mothers but would show right back up in a few days, then i found adams polishes, did one real good detail job by my self with all the products i bought from adams polishes and today 3 months later the truck still has no swirls or light scratches, its shining more than the day i bought it. you will fall inlove with all of adams products just see what every one else on pt.net that has tryed there products has to say.

I used many wax compounds such as Meguiar's and Turtle wax, but nothing last longer than Adam's indeed, I also have a black truck with lots of swirls, Adams polish took good care of it!

Adam's is good stuff.
I use Meguiar's NXT 2.0 as a Sealant, 2 apps for even coverage, then finish up with Mother's Carnuaba on dark vehicles.
I would say do a proper polish starting from the beginning, protect it with good sealants, then change your washing habits. On a black vehicle I would do no less than a 3 bucket wash system and use only wool or a premium microfiber mitt for the wash.
It's impossible to prevent swirls, but you can really keep them to a minimum.
Also, do a good pre-soak before washing to eliminate scrubbing.

I bought the porter cable from adams polishes, only used it one time so far about 3 months ago, my paint still looks amazing! And this Black silverado is my daily driver, might hit it agean with the porter cable in a month or two.

I have been using Adams for a long time and it works great.......
I ran out of Adams and our local guy is no longer in town so I used some Mothers.....I can say this has lasted me a long time ( 5 rainy days and about 10 washes ). The Caranuba is pretty good, however it is all about surface prep!
