The 05 HD hood wont fit on an 03-04 because the grille is different. I already have an 05 HD hood on its way here, but there is a lot of modification to get it to fit, so it might be a while before I get it on. Here is a pic of my RCSB with the SS front end.



My SS bumper is a GM bumper, not a Street Scene.

 

Yeah the 05 hood wont fit, the 05 hood is straight across and the regular one bulges up where the grille is.

Iw would look much better than a cowl hood though

 

If I have a 3500 do you think it will fit ? or is this just a problem for ya'll 1500 guys

 

 

The 05 HD hood is a huge improvement over the regular 03+hoods. just my .02

So what if you have to buy a new grill to make it fit

I dont think the headlights are the same either, Ill have to take another look at an 05 HD tonight. last time I looked, it seemed like to make it bolt on youd need to change the grille, and all the lights.

And also I like my 03 grille a lot better



And it will take the same amount of work for any 03-04 truck, its not just a 1500 thing

 

I Have Been Trying To And Get A Price On The Ss Front Cover But I Never Can Get Through To Anybody. Can Someone Here Tell Me How Much It Is.

 

New oem grille = $336, kinda steep just to be different. You should just do what I did, hit a deer ,then you can swap your whole front end with whatever you want.
