Default Need Measurement Verification

Not sure im posting in the correct section...
But i am hoping that someone can help me verify a measurement.

On a 2003 Silverado Stepside, Ive noticed that existing rivet nuts for the plastic cap on the tailgate are not all evenly spaced on my friends truck. From Driver side to Passenger side the measurements between the rivet nuts are as follow:
14-11/16" , 14-11/16" & 14-13/16". In other words the last Rivet nut on the passenger side is further out and to me it doesnt make since that it is. I figured they would be symmetrical and evenly spaced all the way across.

is someone willing to remove their tailgate cap and verify the distance between the last 2 Rivet nuts on the passenger side? and see if its indeed further out.

Thanks!
