Default My One Off Whipple CAI

Got sick of the old style plastic intake it comes with so I made my own. It is made out of 4" steel piping and runs down to the front of my RF tire. Seems to be alot more responsive. Hope you guys like it.

Trust me, It won't be driven in the rain. If i am forced to, I will just put the filter on the end of the MAF sensor. Quick and Easy. I do need to get a shield for the filter so the tire doesn't throw something through it.

So do you guys think i should just paint it black or get some Header Wrap and use that to reduce the intake temps? I think i can get the header wrap in black too.

Or is ther something else you guys would recommend to keep the heat from getting to it?

I would say rap it since I use to have a metal intake with that type pipe and it would get hot fast and stay hot for a while. I am N/A and it was killing my iat but with you having the whipple it might not effect you as much.
