Default My DD lately, an E39 BMW

Well ever since the truck has been under construction I was driving around an American classic! A '91 V6 T-bird!! LOL... $1300 and it was in decent shape. Well after 3 head gasket replacements I had enough. Sold that and picked this up. It's a 2001 BMW 525i... I've actually really grown to the car, it handles superb and I get 24.5 MPGs with the way I drive (for those that don't know me I drive hard and offensively). It's very comfortable and has many options. And I've been doing a lot of research about an LS1 swap... there's a million E36s that've done it and only 1 E39 that successfully did it with 2 others in the midst of it now. I think a mild cammed with moderatley worked heads would run nicely. The I6 in it now is way to weal for my tastes... but it's still fun to drive.

Nothing special, all stock. Sorry for the crappy pics, it's one of Sony's first digital cameras... time for a new one.

LOL... I have a sickness!! LOL I even put a K&N FIPK modified from my old 5.0 Mustang on it and did some weight reduction

But I think a tame LS1 in this car would make it a very nice DD. Not to mention cheaper and easier to maintinance. And who knows a plate kit may find it's way on there for the unsuspecting M5s and AMGs out here.

Like it. I think the side window molding should be black too - I can't stand how almost every car now has chromed molding, it looks silly.
