That's a clean truck for an '89. How many miles? The first thing I would do is remove those running boards and remove the bed rails.

looks good... if your not planning on modding much... i would put some headers on that bad boy and paint the valve covers.... just to make that look a little better under the hood..

First off you could make your intake less restrictive with just a few bucks. What I did, is I took out all of that plastic that goes into the passenger side quarter panel and replaced it with a 3.5" Metal Pipe and rubber fittings, also, you can get msd ignition parts for not that much. On summit racing there are some ceramic headers for $245, its pretty much a good deal, but hey nice truck. Oh and yeah I would definantly remove those running boards and bed rails
