Default Molding Removal

I have an 03 arrival blue silverado, wondering if there might be a mark left behind if I remove the molding and 4x4 decals now from the paint fading? Has anyone else removed the molding off an older truck?
cheers

Depends on how the paint has been kept up. If it is been taken care of and waxed regularly you will be ok. If not, it might leave a little behind. Being that new, you should be ok for the most part. I had a 92 that I removed the molding off a few years ago and you could BARELY see where it was if you knew where to look and looked at it right...

i removed the moldings off my chevy and it was repainted (cause of a wreck) w/o takin the moldings off which they frequently do, it looked TERRIBLE. as long as your truck was never touched up anywhere liek a bedside or something it should be ok, just be sure to polish then wax several times, it will leave a mark before you do all this but after the polish/wax you should be fine
