Damn man I'm not sure what to tell you on these. It looks GM is only making the kits in limited colors. You can do a search on gmpartsdirect.com under the accessory's link to get more info. You can plug at least one of the #'s below in at their site to get an idea on price tho. It looks like black is not available in a kit tho...

Hey I almost forgot to tell you the fax came through but it was almost black and unreadable. I spent most of my weekend fixing my damm riding lawn mower, and its still kind of f-ed up.
Re-fax that puppy on some light paper instead of the cardboard.

i copied it on the copy machine as light as it will go. let me go copy the copy lighter and see how it does. ill fax it asap.

 

I have a two buddies that work in the service department at different dealerships and they both have told me then only sell the complete mirrors and not the caps. JP customs sell the "smooth paintable" covers so I sent them an email asking about them and am waiting on a response back.
If all they do is take the regular plastic ones and sand them down, then there's no sense in paying for them when you can do them yourself. We'll see if they respond.

 

I never had luck finding them in black either. I got mine by trading my Escalade handles for some power mirrors w/ the caps on them. Good luck on getting some.

 

No-one sells Black painted mirror covers end of story! After talking to three dealers and the posts here I am SOL.
Please prove me wrong somebody!!

 

Check the classifides on here, i know there was a set of black plastic that could be skuffed up and painted...
