before christmass i put a stereo in the DD


had a couple of christmass break projects
first was painting my DDs wheels black







second project, my grandpaw sent me a couple sb350 valve covers, to become my new coil covers. still need to be painted red.

I don't understand the valve cover idea. 1st generation small block valve covers have no place on a 3rd gen engine. Obviously they don't fit, so why even try? On top of that, you decided to cut up some original valve covers that have the "Chevrolet" stamped into the metal. It's hard to find those.

On a different note, the wheels on your truck looks good! Nice tool box too.

 

i got the idea from another thread, saw it, liked it. and my grandpaw has about three more sets just like these.

i really like the way the wheels came out too, rustolium flat black.
