Here is what I did. I made mine and also put my meth lights up there beside it. I am not a big fan of the pillars.

not to thread jack but i was wondering where you guys wired up to gauges from, ignition power and the lights? ive searched but didint really find what i was looking for

I got mine tapped into the actual wires for the interior and dash light dimmer wheel..

Where are you tapping into your ignition for power?
