lowering a Z71, stupid or clever?

it's what I am doing...already took the block out of the back which came pretty close to leveling the truck. I just got the 2" shackles today. I'll install them tomorrow, lower the front a touch and take some pics and post em. I only need about 3/4" in the front. I just hope there's that much in it without goin to new keys or spindles. We'll see...

I got 15,300 for my 04 (same truck as yours) with 18k mi on it. That sucked so bad. But I did get into the truck I wanted. So go for it.
