Default Lowered my truck

I think a few people were interested in how much the torsion bars would lower the front just by cranking them down. Here is my 06 with the torsion bars all the way down and 2" drop shakles on the rear.

looks real good, would not have guessed that it was cranked down in the front and shackles in the rear. Did you remove the block under the leaf spring pack in the rear too?

sorry for being a suspension ignorant person, but where is the torsion bar and how do you "crank it down"

i lowered my front about an inch with a heavier engine, but wouldnt mind another inch or two lower.... i did the drop shackles (DJM) in the rear as well.. about 3"

and how is the ride quality? as compared to stock of course..

Not all trucks have the torsion bar set up. It'll be about a 1" diameter bar leaving the front going to the rear. At the end of it will be a 1/2" or so bolt. This 1/2" bolt as you loosen the bolt will lower the truck.

and how is the ride quality? as compared to stock of course..

I have not driven it enough to tell yet.

jimbob1..... Thanks

Truck looks great, but I have to insert this one comment... if the Dachshund was silver the first picture would be hilarious... am I the only one that finds any humor in that?
