i need to have my truck repainted. It is black and i need to have it re-done in black. I want the whole truck done, what do you think that this task is worth, or what have you paid, RCSB- by the way. I have a local shop in mind but i want to gat an estimate of how much it should cost before going in for an estimate. THANK YOU ALL

 

2500-3000 is what it cost for my moms explorer, so probably about the same

im getting mine redone soon. getting the clear taken off and then getting a new white base coat. then on the hood im getting a silver ghost stripe with white pear ghost flames in the stripe. This includes all plastics painted to. this is a custom shop not just a paint shop so its gonna be a little cheaper. im getting the whole job done with new base, graphics, and clear for $2k

 

When my old truck got keyed, I was qouted around $1800 to have the whole truck redone. This was at the body shop of a local Chevrolet dealership.

 

we redid my whole truck at our shop and my dad said it would have been around 1600 bucks if somebody went in there and wanted done what i had done which was an all over like your wanting.

if you pay more than 2k your getting ripped. my truck was like glass and is everything that comes out of our shop

 

around $2k for my color change (pewter to Black)... that included underside of the hood, taking the bed off, inside of doors, etc.

 

for my brothers ECSB was $2500, everything painted including new door, driverside fender, new ss bumper cover, grille, mirros, rear bumper, tailgate cap.... at www.southcoastkustoms.com

 

i was quoted 2K for a custom white w/ blue pearl and including body work, shaved tail lights, shaved 3rd brake light, installed led tail light, installed led 3rd brakelight, shaved gas door, painted mirrors, painted esky handles, painted grill, painted tonneau cover, painted door jams, molding body kit to truck. this guy has done it for years but was recentle busted for not having an adiquit paint booth, so now he does it on the side at a friends custom shop. he does good work, he has done all the lil ricers and euro cars in the area. and im not talking about the y looking car on like the vw commercials, im talking bad *** show quality paint jobs, with the exception of the occasional dumb *** ricer who wants a dark green base with chartreuse lightning bolts with a light blue outline

 

ok so what i gained is i aint got to pay more than 2G's, will that prolly include a color sand/buff?
