Thanks for all of the feedback guys! You're absolutely right about plastidip being a win win! It's nice to be able to change up the look of something for a cheap price without it being a permanent thing!

It's actually a custom paint job. The top starts in Olympic white and fades into GM Sebring Silver(think 97+ silver vettes). The fade was done really good and its often hard to even see it fades in a lot of pictures.

Those are Centerline 20" wheels and Kumho 275/45/20 tires. Truck is lowered 2/4.

I ended up with 3 coats since I'm planning on doing the glossy finish on it. I'm planning on starting out with 2 coats of glossifier and see if that gets me where I want it to be.

Exactly what I did. The first coat you will still see some of the wheel showing through, then I work on getting a full coverage by the second. The third is a nice thick coverage.

I'm very impressed with this stuff. I didn't have a single run spot on any of the wheels and it does a great level dry. I'm really glad to see all of you guys have had great luck with it holding up. I've already gotten some great feedback local too! I do get the "I can't believe you painted over those pretty wheels" statements from a few, but they have no idea this stuff is removeable.

Looks awesome. My only comment is that when people start to add black I feel like it looks much better when there is no chrome... IE the chrome grille etc. You lucked out because you have a white/silver truck and it hides that much better than normal.

I love plasti dip! I had it done on my hood for a long time, and it is very durable on wheels.

Def post up some pics. I'm def thinking about doing mine sometime this year just to change it up for a while. I see the pro truck kit has a sprayer/paint/tape/etc. My favorite plastidip job so far has been the pearl white. Looks really good!!

Looks good man.
I've always been a fan of silver trucks with black wheels.

plastidip is having a sale right now that's hard to pass. 5 gallons of matte black, the sprayer, 3m respirator, tape, towls, prep sprays for $364.

someone dip their entire car and tell me how it goes. i think my s10 would look sick as the murder s10
