Interior paint?
#7
If you have a body shop nearby that mixes their own paint, you may check to see if they may be able to mix interior paint. When i was working in the paint shop I mixed my own interior paint (was just a basecoat, no clear) by the code in the glove box and painted it myself. Matched pretty good, had it in the truck for 2 years now, no problems.

used to work at a body shop, take your truck there and they can color match it. depending on what kind of finish you want depends on what steps you do. if you just want color and still the factory texture, wipe everything down with mineral spirits, scuff with 600 gritt paper, wipe again with mineral spirits, spray, let sit in a moisture free area, temp should be atleast 68 degrees for best results,. up to you far as gloss, if your want a smooth finish, wipe with mineral spirits, scuff with 320-400 gritt, use a high-build primer, spray a medium coat, use 400 gritt to sand smooth, wipe down, spray again with another medium coat, sand until smooth, then go over with 600-800 gritt, wiper with mineral spirits, then spray base, then clear, and if the clear orange peals, i highly recommend wet sanding with 800, then 1200, then buffing with mothers wax.

I've been looking for a center console for months. Seems charcoal grey is the color of choice. They go for about double of other colors. Figured I'd buy a a different color one and paint it.
