Default How would?

My truck look with a painted tail-gate cap, handle and color-matched mirrors? I think it's time for some cosmetic mods!

expensive but cool as hell http://www.stylinconcepts.com/part.a.../categoryid/25

i dont think stocker mirrors look bad, i just dont like the idea of paintin any of that textured stuff, i was told when you sand it some kinda oils are in the plastic that cause the paint to chip over time, if its true or not i dunno, i just wouldnt wanna take any chances

ps to all you guys who have your stockers painted and wanna come one and argue with me about it cause youve had yours painted for 2 yrs, please dont, im just tellin you what i HEARD

LOL, those are nice but yeah $$ out of my reach. I asked my painter about the mirrors and he said it wouldn't be a problem, hmm.
If anyone HAS painted their stock plastics I'd like to know how it holds up.

def do the gate handle flip kit, i got mine sittin in my basement... probably aint goin on till i get my nali front clip and get it all that **** painted though

ya i have no experience wit the stockers bein painted, i just assumed its like everything else thats textured on these trucks :example: top bumper pad, ppl on THIS site said dont paint em, get the paintable ones... i guess for what youll pay for the street scene mirros though you can get your stockers painted 3 times if they start to chip

Tahoe handles are are only like 60 bucks for the pair just as cheap as getting your stockers painted. An SSS tg cap is like 110 and looks alot better. You can get the SSS handle and bezel for the tg too. Just buying the parts prepainted is almost as cheap as getting them smoothed then painted and you have pice of mind knowing they are done right, thats how I see it anyway.
