Default How many guys use the Mr.Clean Autodry carwash?

I was skeptical at first when they came out but my buddy said it worked for him so I got it and man it works great as long as you used the filtered water generously and try to keep it out of the sun while washing what the guys that have it think?

I have it because I like how you dont have to use a hose AND and bucket of soap and water.

But to me, the purified water is absolutely worthless on my black truck.

I have one, I use it mainly for the purified water but I still end up drying the truck anyways

I know three different people who'd swear they'll never use theirs again. At least one of them went to the landfill.

It's hard to replace the tried and true method of vehicle cleaning.

The first one I had dripped unfiltered water on my truck, I replaced it but ended up talking it back. By the time I got back of my truck washed the front was already trying to dry, it took quite a while to get the truck covered with the filtered water, I could dry it the old way about as quick and have better results at less cost. They do work better than no drying at all but not good enough for the way most of us want our trucks/cars to look.

Wash your truck early in the morning or later in the evening it wont dry so fast and wash the truck like you normally would but keep the part you have already washed covered with water then once you are throught then use the filtered water to get the nasty water off. Thats how I do it and have had good results.

It seems to work pretty good for me, but I have a white truck, too. I wouldn't swear by it, but if you're in a hurry, or feeling lazy, it's a good way to go.

Dont wash in the heat of the day, it dries to fast and you still get spots. I have to do my Tahoe in sections. I like it mostly for the glass. I still dry most of the truck but the autodry seems to keep spots off the glass pretty well.

I wasn't really impressed with it. I used it once on the truck, and that was all. It's sitting in the garage now. I have hard water out here in the sticks, so that might have something to do w/ it still spotting up on me.
