How to fix bumper-to-fender gap???
#1
I am wanting to see if anybody has figured out a good way to make the gap smaller between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the fender on the sides??? I have tried to shim it before with no luck, and the gap drives me crazy b/c it looks like the two pieces weren't made to fit w/ each other.....

I got this from another thread a little while back: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...bumper+bracket
---------------------------
theres an "L" bracket on each side of the bumper if you lay down and look under there. put a jack on that bracket and jack it up little by little until the bumper sits where its suposed to. i had to do that with mine after the fender bender.

There are side support arms that bolt to the frame and the ends of the bumper. You can loosen those and then take a jack and raise your bumper corners to the desired gap then retighten the support arms. I straightened mine out that way. My bumper used to look like it was tilting backwards.

wreck your truck and when you put your new bumper on just bend em up lmao. i didn't have it planed that way but i figured i would go ahead sine it was laready liek that. I got mine way upp, touching almost even. but yeah just use a jack, thats what i did.
