Ill have my truck up and running soon and it will be time to give the looks department a little TLC and since I scratched the **** out of my stock hood Im going to go ahead and buy a different one instead of repainting the stocker.
1.Keystone fiberglass SS scoop style hood

2.HD hood

3.Goodmark or Reflexxion cowl hood

Keep in mind my truck is pewter, and my truck is going to look more offroad-ish by the time Im done with it. Im leaning towards the HD hood at the moment.

Im thinking Ill go with either the HD or the SS style hood. Only thing I dont like about the HD hood is that it is so subtle of a change I dont think really anybody would notice but then again I dont know if the scoop hood really goes with a truck on 35" mud terrains. I can get the SS hood for about 300 and I can get the HD hood for a barely over 300 so cost isnt really a factor.

to me the SS style just doesnt go with a lifted truck unless its a show truck and i know yours wont be. and the cowl is kinda overplayed although it is one of the best looking hoods available. the HD hood makes a subtle difference and it looks the best IMO

I used to like the HD hood's, but the more I look at them they just don't fit right to me anymore. I like the SS hood but I'm not a fan of fiber glass and not sure how it would fit on a lifted truck. I guess I would have to go with the good old steel cowl hood nice clean classic look.
