I was just wondering what kind of hood you guys think I should put on my truck. I have a scsb stepside silverado.

 

I like the cowl hoods on RC trucks, I have an ext cab, and if i get a hood it will be an HD hood. Just my .02 though.

 

I think the cowl hoods look good on any truck. Unless, of course, there is a significant amount of cost difference between any of the hoods.

 

I voted HD hood...I'm not too keen on the cowl hoods for our trucks. The Cervini's hood comes in a VERY close second. I would choose the HD because it's much cheaper than the Cervini's piece--but if you've got the money, you can't beat the quality of their hoods, and they're fiberglass so a little weight would come off of the front end.

 

I really dig the cowl hoods.

 

That's one thing that has bothered me. Why is it that the cowl hoods are steel? Have I not seen anyone offer them in fiberglass. Am I looking in the wrong place?

 

i love the look of the hd hoods, if only it would work on a gmc. i remember seeing somebody put an hd hood onto a gmc and it looked wicked

 

I voted HD, but I like all three of your choices. Personally I like my cowl hood, but I might have a HD if they made them for the GMC's.

 

Hey snake i think AIM makes them in fiberglass.

Hey Kooch that was Creedarado that modded his hd hood to fit. I like the WS6 style ram air better then all.

 

I vote for a WS6 style hood-im actually looking for one for my truck.
