When I had my 18's I had both a Yokohama AVS and Nitto 404 in 285/50/18. I will take the nittos over the yokos anyday. Rode smoother, less noisy, better dry traction(about equal wet traction/hydroplane resistance) and were 80 bucks less a tire. Although the Yoko were a very good looking agressive tire, the just wern't the 'premier' sport truck tire the are advertised to be. Now that the 18s are gone, I will be putting a set of Toyo Proxies in a 275/60/16 on my stock aluminum rims on friday. I will let yall know how they do. Anything has to be better than these 235 wranglers I currently have on there though.

What should I get for the front? It's going to look like crap having stock tires in the front, and if I do change them too, should I get some thiner treads for the front?
