i have a 500k philips hid kit on my ss. they perform awesome, i think ir i remeber correct 5000k is just a bit above or just a bit under what sunlight is rated at. i was thinking of going with the 6000k when my bulbs go out but im really happy witht he 5000k and would probably buy them again!

5000k is close to the look of BMW, Lexus, and most cars with OEM HID. 6000k has a nice, light blue tint. I have 5000k on my wifes Trailblazer and 6000k on my truck. It seems to me that the 6000k pick up reflective surfaces(road signs, lane paint) better. Just my 2 cents

Here you go- 5000k on left(Trailblazer), 6000k on right(Truck)

5000k

6000k

HID headlight with halogen fog light- 9005 bulb

The 6000k don't look as blue from the drivers seat as the picture might suggest. They put out more of a white light with a blue hue. Hope these help
