If I remember correctly, anything below 4000k is yellow, around 4300k is closest to sunlight, around 6000k is blueish, and above that it starts to turn purple. 4300k is going to be the brightest and have the most useable light. I would probably go with the 5000k

I just bought the 6000K kit. I wanted a combo of white and blue. 4300 is too white and 8000 is too blue imo

Yea you may just want to go with the stock philips 4300k i believe. That is the same one that comes on anything stock as far as HId goes....When you first turn is on it is blue until it heats up then just goes straight white...All these Ebay bulbs are ****....You need to get a reputable brand such as philips, osram/slyvania or hella...Philips only makes two temperatures in D2R bulbs....4300k and Ultinon 6000k...an Ultinon 6000k is harder to find because it's from Japan...You may also want to check on thier new D4R Xeneco...I believe it's somewhere like 4800k..Definatly check Ebay thoroughly..don't get ripped off!.......good luck!

I would like to get some HIDs for my truck but, I dont want any replacement bulbs. I had Xenarcs in my old truck, they were great. Are there any DOT HID kits made for GMCs? Any info wold be appreciated.
