Default HID KIT Which One???

Hey guys, Im about to order the HID Kits for my Yellow Truck and wanted to know first what you all tought about which color would look better in my truck, if the real blue color or if the purple would look good on the yellow? Let me know what you all think? JJ

Blue. Or you could get the 3000k-3200k and have yellow headlights, and be color-matched. Just remember the higher in the Kelvin scale, the smaller the lumen output. Mine are 6000k, have a nice blue tint and still light up the road.

From what I have seen and read, around 6000k is a good comprimise. If you want a little more visibility, come down on the scale just a little.

5200-6000 is a good color temp.

i have 4300k's w/ my denali headlamps but i havent installed them yet. i'll let you know how they look and i'll post pics

8000k here. They are blinding but have an awsome color in my opinion

Visibilty is not going to be bery good at all compared to something in the 5K range. Did you just want the ricer look?

I like the 4300 that comes in teh Xenarc kit, mine light up the road well but you can still tell they are HID and they light signs up so much better.

Thats all you get with anything over 6000. Flakey blue-purple.
