Just got it a few weeks ago. So far I have stripped the moldings off, roll pan (still unpainted), shackle drop, tint, and the good old Flowmaster.
When I bought the truck the previous owner used it as a work truck. It had a rack and tool box in the back. (never thought I would see a rack in a stepside) I pretty much spent two weeks on the paint alone, trying to buff all the blemishes out.

Still lots of work to do. (i.e. more drop, grill, rear end, tranny, and ENGINE)

The tailgate is in my garage. Left it off to take the roll pan back off for paint.

Clean and simple. Don't do anything else to the appearance. I would also keep the stock wheels if you regularly clean them. I think I need to tint my side windows now.
